About SHERIDAN

Now age 17, Sheridan Thomas was born in West Yorkshire. She has already travelled and seen parts of the world that most other 17-year olds only dream of. Sheridan started singing before she could talk. At 4 years old, she was on church choir and performed in church shows and charity events in Manchester and at her primary school Cheshire, and was always willing to perform and act at any given opportunity.


Sheridan first went to Hong Kong when she was 5 years with her mother who was working and relocated there. While living there she learned Mandarin and was able to travel to other countries, like China, Vietnam, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Bali, Dubai, America, Thailand, India, Singapore and Malaysia.


Expanding her horizons, Sheridan and her mother moved to Jamaica when she was nearly 10 years old. In Jamaica she recorded her first song, titled “Put Your Mind to it”. After recording it, she released it the next day, Ron Muchette and Elise Kelly from “Irie FM” were the first to start her music career in a big way. She started to do interviews for Elise Kelly from “Irie FM”, a huge icon out there, known as Queen Elise Kelly. Ron Muschette was pushing her music and making her known to a point of requests for her music. She also had DJ Shinehead, DJ Sunshine, Big A, Mighty Mike, all DJ out there supporting her. Sheridan received a warm welcome in the music business in Jamaica and a lot of support from local music lovers.
Sheridan was then approached by “I Wayne’s” management, Loyal Soldiers, to record titled tracks “Shotta”, “Jetlag” and “Butterfly” all on I Wayne’s instrumentals and all played on all major stations in Jamaica such as Irie FM, Roots FA. She also performed live for Jamaican icon, Richie B, live on radio in front of her school of 1500 students as well a huge demographic that listened to it on the radio live.


She has been around major artists in Jamaica who have all shown their support for her. Artists such as The Marley’s, Beenie Man, Elephant man, I Wayne, Capleton, Buju Banton, Bunnie Wailor, Jah Cure, Gyptian, Morgan heritage, Little Capes, Gregory Issacs and many more. Her tracks were played on major radio stations across Jamaica, Japan, India, and UK and across the Pacific.
