| About Kinda Like Techno | Hi, my name is Michael Miyano and my Dj name is Mister Miyagi. Everyone used to call me Mr. Miyagi because of my last name, so I decided to make that my dj name. I got into the whole edm scene when my girlfriend took me to my first rave, which was EDC, and I loved it ever since. After that, I got into promoting for a lot of the clubs out here in Vegas. I worked with Vegas Alliance, Angel Management Group, Next Events, Crazy Horse 3, and Velvet Lion. After working in the industry for a couple of years, I wanted to get into djn. Starting off practicing with a little Hercules RMX controller(given to me by Dj Krys1s), I learned the basics of djn. After that my friend Dragon XL actually let me borrow his Technics and Rane ttm 57sl mixer for about 3 months. I tried having people show me how to dj, but I couldn't learn that way. I ended up just teaching myself how to dj. I have dj'd at a lot of place ranging from Obsession Afterhours(Crazy Horse 3), Piano Bar(inside the Harrahs), Artisan, Cathouse, Pixel-8(rave in Vegas), I Love My City(rave in Bakersfield), etc. Within the last year, I linked up with Dj Bambu(Kinda Like Techno) and iRok Events to start throwing events out here in Vegas.
