About Charles Steele

Charles Steele, born as Charles Adam Steele, was born in Welch, WV on January 12, 1989 and raised in a small town 10 minutes outside of Pineville, WV called Brenton. Steele was raised around a family that played music. His father, Bobby Randall Steele, has been playing music since he was 7 years old and now 49. At the age of 12, Steele, was taught to play the guitar by his very own father. And since then, he has ventured into songwriting. Though he has written many of songs, it wasn't until 2007 he started recording them. And on his very first compilation, which is called "A Better Man", it features 13 songs, including the title track. Though the Clint Black song, "A Better Man" and that of Steele's have the same title, they are two entirely different songs. And in late 2008, Steele did another album which is called "Hard Workin' Man", many of my fans know that the song "It Hurts Me To Let You Go" was the most played song, this album features this song. And in April of 2009 on the 29th, came another release, which is called "Where I Belong" which featured the songs " Where I Belong" and "In The Nightlife" which were in 2nd place of the most played songs on my myspace page. Charles then took two years off to live life, spend time with his family, and hanging out with friends. Then in September 2011, he did a comeback album of which contained 9 covers of different artists' songs, 1 of Rascal Flatts, 2 Trace Adkins, and 3 Clint Black, and 3 all new originals, featuring "Follow My Heart", "Life's Highway" and reissued the song that is contained on the "Where I Belong" album called "(The Devil) Get Out Of The Way". Which was released as "Follow My Heart". Then from November 2011-May 2012, Charles then completed another new album which was just released June 1, 2012. It features the number one single "Heartaches and Melodies" and "Before The Rain Sets In", which is the album's second single. The release itself is called: "Heartaches and Melodies". It also contains a new remake of "Follow My Heart". Alongside doing music, Steele has also performed in plays when he was in High School. In 2005, "A Christmas Carol", which he played the character "Fred". and in 2007, played in "A Bad Day At Black Frog Creek", portrayed the characters of: "Mr. Stumbles" and "Dumbo".
