The band's lead vocalist Tammy Schreiber has spent the last 15 years singing in Opry Shows across Texas, and perfecting her vocal skills in studios from Austin to Nashville.Realizing she wanted to be part of something based out of Texas that stayed close to her roots, but had the energy and power of Southern Rock as it's heartbeat..she contacted Kim Hunter, who was quite a musical force to be reaconed with in her own right..Spending the last 8 years on tour with the Terry Allen Band..writing music that has not only charted in Texas, but internationally as well, and fetching an endorsement deal with Daisy Rock guitars....adding her Southern Rock flair seemed like the right fit..Together they found lead guitarist Rob Jasso..a Native of Austin and veteran of Austin's eclectic music scene..Rob brings a passion for hard rock riffs, and high energy music to the mix..adding just enough pure rock influence to keep the music energized..even ballads, have a flair that is Barefoot Dixie's alone. It only seemed perfect to add longtime friend and super drummer Romeo Romero to the line up. The youngest member of the band..Romeo spent his childhood fine tuning his passion for drumming, and after stints as a tour drummer for Bailey , and banging out a successful run with several local bands founded by his long time friends..Romeo was ready to embark on something new..and Barefoot Dixie was happy to offer him that challenge...Completing this dynamic line up is Bass man Tim McMillin...a seasoned rock bassist..ready to turn the page and try something off the beaten path.Skilled and professional , Tim offers a super charged stage presence, and a hard banging back beat that you can feel in your heart every time this amazing band performs live..
