| About ally bo | Alexander Juan Torres, known to the world as Ally Bo, who was born and raised in Hayward Ca, better known as Hell Town. As a youngster I experienced many things that I would never want my children to experience, that is why I thrive hard to make it in the music industry. My style is so unique I feel I can use it to get in the game and go straight to the top. I push hard to gain respect for the whole Latin community, which is where I come from. In the beginning music was just something that I played around with. I was introduced to rhyming by my close friend who passed away with cancer. He gave me a style and told me to run with it, so this is all for him, Ben Willis aka Mr.G…R.I.P. I can get rich a million different ways but I’m doing this for respect. I am definitely making a way for this whole Latin movement. I have collaborations with Clyde, Carson, Mr. FAB, Mr. Kee, several artists from Thizz, and the entire TTS family. I have performed in many places including UGMX, Loft 11, Club NV, Club Suede and Club Anton. My number one influence is 2Pac, he was the realist. You can get a dose of that same realness in my albums. My first album is named “Since Birth” which dropped in 2002 and in 2003 I recorded a compilation “On Sight”. My second album, “The Truth” shows my growth. I have featured on multiple mix tapes in the Bay Area and right now I am in the studio working on my much anticipated solo album that is set to drop in 2012. |
