Mitia Oliver, the baby of her family has the honor and privilege to be born into a singing family group "The Oliver Generations of Faith". Mitia grew up watching her older siblings Theresa, Racquell, John T., her Uncle Willie, as well as her Father (John) & Mother (Isabell) minister at many different churches and events across the Pacific Northwest for more than twenty five years. Mitia joined the family group when she was 14 years old and was featured on their 1999 single entitled "If I Couldn't Say a Word."

Coming from such a musically talented family it was only natural that Mitia would pick up an instrument. She has been playing the piano & drums since age 11 & just recently started playing the organ. She briefly took classical piano lessons under the direction of Beth Wulff from ages 11 to 15. Mitia is currently the Minister of Music at Gleanings Community Bible Church where her father is the Pastor. Although she loves playing the drums, she has recently been stepping out front and leading Praise & Worship.

Mitia is very passionate about Ministry, pleasing God and making every effort to accomplish her goals. As a junior in High School, she was instrumental in forming the Garfield High School Gospel Choir from 2001 - 2003. Shortly after High School, Mitia moved to New York to study Music. She graduated from SAE Institute of Technology NY in 2005 with a Certificate of Completion in Electronic Music Production.

While most of Mitia's singing experience has been with her family group, God allowed Mitia to share the stage with Hezekiah Walker & Twinkie Clark in Workshop Choirs in Seattle. She has also sang live and studio background vocals for a few local artists. Since graduating from SAE Institute of Technology NY Mitia has started producing music. God allowed her to release two summer singles one entitled "Jesus is Lord" on July 9th, 2010 and the other "Church Girl" on July 26th, 2012. These songs are available on iTunes, Amazon & CdBaby. She is currently working on a debut album, please be on the lookout for this.

Mitia loves God and trusts Him completely! She stands on Phil 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Please keep her ministry in prayer. May God continue to bless you richly!
