| About Erin Vivers Ferguson | Erin Vivers Ferguson is a 21 year old singer/songwriter from Falkirk in Central Scotland. She recently recorded her self titled debut, releasing the first five tracks early as an album sampler. Erin began gigging in April 2012, playing original material and cover versions on the local open Mic circuit. Erin has now played 124 gigs around Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh, Hamilton and Falkirk. Erin took part in national singing competition Open Mic UK, where she reached the Regional Final. On the competition, Erin took to local media to highlight the competition, and how it had helped shape her career: "I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to compete in Open Mic UK. To have only started gigging and all to be given a chance like this - is a blessing. I've been sat with 80 local likes on Erin Vivers Ferguson Music, and thanks to OMUK my likes have gone into the thousands! I'm just glad that I've been able to say I've played the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall with my original material!" Erin will be supporting Have Mercy Las Vegas on January 5th 2013 and one of her favourite acts Emma's Imagination on February 1st. |
