About Tony Spence

Tony spence a 26 y.o. with a very universal ability and talent of singing/songwriting/entertaining from Brisbane Queensland Australia. He plays guitar and writes his. own lyrics. He proforms anywhere that he's needed to entertain the public, "i can do weddings, birthday party's, festivals. My hourly rate is $50 and $150 for a night and I also love doing charity events". He started playing music when he was 15 years old and still finds his passion for song writing never dies. In 2011 he recorded his first recorded his first solo album "living on victory's edge" that told the story of life in Brisbane from the perspective of the streets. "I was living day to day in desperate search for new music, new lyrics and some place to survive" Half way through 2006 he was in bands such as 'Beat the Streets', Acca/Dacca, 'Redcross MC's' and 'TC and the Lightning Strikerz'. Yogi bear has been a nickname since he was only 17 years old and is acquired from a popular cartoon called Yogibear. He's known for caring about his music, his family and his fans. "It all started when he was a little boy sitting watching his Dad play the drums like the professional he is. "I knew I'd turn down a path like the music industries and become successful at it." But his goal has always been music from a young child growing up in a musical background. "I've always tried hard to do the right thing by my parents even if it was a hard battle ground." His next project is a DVD based on his live show proformance's locally and nationally. In the past I've performed at QYMA 2010, BYS's fundraiser 2007, The Brisbane Entertainment Centre, CLA's anneral general meeting, espresso train cafè's 10th birthday celebrations, Family week BBQ 2009/2012 ,City hall's homeless connect, World Refugee Day, Prime Ministers Drug and Alcohol Awards, labour day March, st Patrick's day March, the ACCAN Conference and Queensland Day Celebrations, Urban Caboolture Country Music festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival and the Police commissioners Christmas carols 2005/2007 as well as apparentence on (ABC, channel 9 and stateline).
