DiTruth- A Biography

DiTruth is a reggae recording artiste who has entered the reggae music scene with some very powerful songs. Christened Paul Atkinson, DiTruth is an artiste with an unquenchable passion for good music, hence my desire to produce good music for reggae music. DiTruth has a lot to say, and thinks music is an effective medium through which to expressed his thoughts and opinions, while raising awareness, providing inspiration for others, as well as providing good clean entertainment for reggae music lovers. DiTruth has introduced music lovers to his music with an EP, and music videos, containing 6 songs, including a lovers rock single called “Pretty woman”.
Ditruth was born and grew up in Jamaica. He grew listening to and loving various genres of music with reggae being his first love. He was especially fond of the great pioneers before such as Bob Marley Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Dennis Brown, Alton Ellis, Greggory Isaacs, to name a few. It is this love and passion for the music that has inspired him to start active recording. DiTruth is an artiste that promises to deliver high quality entertaining reggae music, with his versatility and unique style. To date he has recorded 6 songs, each with a unique and rich blend of conscious lyrics and melody you are bound to enjoy.
Ditruth recorded his first single“ Garvey Philosophy” at E2 Studio in Brooklyn NY, then followed up with several more, namely “Just Because I Look Like You, Feel Like Running Away, Bloodstained Hands and Heart, Hard road, and Pretty Woman”, all of which, have garnered admiration and praise from people who have heard them, including studio engineer, and master musician, Ed Robinson, who recorded the hit reggae cover version of “Knocking on Heaven’s Door”, as well as veteran engineer audio Masterer, Chris Scott, who mastered the songs.
Ditruth, since his first single has written over 20 songs to date. He is also the co-author of a song called “A Fathers Love” done by Turban X. He now plans to satisfy his love for the music by producing and providing reggae music lovers with many more good, inspiring , entertaining, and uplifting music in the future, while remaining humble and true.
