About Sam Dumesle Studios LLC

Samuel Dumesle was born in Haiti and raised in East Orange, New Jersey. From a young age he had a passion and skill for music. Before coming to Raleigh, North Carolina to attend Saint Augustine's College in 2002, Sam was a member of many groups and choirs in Northern New Jersey. Such groups include G.FY.G (Glorify God) and Perfect Praise, both of which participated and placed in the McDonald's Gospel Fest and Path-Mark Gospel Fest. Sam also won a Gold, Silver, and Bronze ACT-SO Award from the NAACP. Prior to starting Dedication, Sam acted as director and musician for various choirs and praise teams in the triangle area of North Carolina. Currently, Sam is the minister of music at Church On The Rock in Raleigh NC. He is also a musician and director for First Baptist Church, Gethsemane Seventh-day Adventist Church and Immanuel Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Sam formed Dedication in May 2007. For many years Sam had a song in his heart. He knew that the Lord had called him to minister and share his testimony through song. After many years of composing, Sam set out to establish a group consisting of talented singers to bring life to his songs. Dedication consists of various singers from different denominations and backgrounds, but all serving one God with all their heart.
In October of 2007 Sam Dumesle and Dedication won first place in the 3rd Annual Gospel Talent Showcase sponsored by Women of Essence. But more important than achievements in competitions, Sam Dumesle and Dedication has been blessed to minister through song. Notable venues include, FOX TV Selma, NC, North Carolina State Youth Federation, and Wake Chapel where they opened for Youthful Praise. Most recently Sam Dumesle and Dedication were featured in the play, "Lost Generation" that played at Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
When asked, Sam will tell anyone, "My songs are very personal. As I go through struggles and victories in my life, God always has inspired me with a song. I can always remember what happened that made me write a song. I just want to bless the Lord and to share my testimony through music with other people. I think my songs can really connect with people as they try to either find their way to Christ or just be encouraged in Him." Sam Dumesle and Dedication's first CD release, "Come and Bless the Lord", testifies to Sam's desire to do just that.
