| About Jamie Sims Music | Welcome to my music site. My name is Jamie Sims and I create music. Most of it has been used in and around the Lake District and Cumbria, through various TV programmes and shows, which is just as well, as that's where I live. Originally from the Lincolnshire Wolds, I moved here with my family in 2004, and we live at the head of the Lorton Valley in the beautiful Western Lake District. There are six Lakes Albums that reflect the beauty and landscape of the surrounding fells and mountains. Starting with Beyond Reach, the album tracks have a very personal story behind each one, whether a favourite walk up a fell, a wander around a Lake or Mere. Beyond the Fells, Castlerigg, Myths & Mountains are all telling stories of wonderful locations, that everyone knows. A tribute to A. Wainwright is the subject of Pipesmoke and Rain, The Great Fellwanderer has been an inspiration and driving force in my love for the fells, so it was only right that I celebrated key events in his life with music. |
