I have had the privilege of working with & learning from people within the music industry. Although, I would love the shot at doing any of these functions for hire, my number one focus is working on launching my own solo project, AutoFocus. AutoFocus music is geared toward a broad audience that is centered upon the Alternative / Rock / Pop & even Hard Rock genres. Because I can find an appreciation within all types of music, this is often reflected within my own music in the way of basic inspiration. I naturally end up creating a quilt of all of these genres across the album or even within a single song. Breaking into the music industry is tall challenge to say the least, but I will never give up trying to sell my music and put it into the hands of those who can appreciate it. Whether it will be on my own or with the help of a record label, I will be there. Some Key Milestones: - Played live on the number one local rock station, Eagle 98.7 - Received primetime airplay of "Hidden Pages" on Eagle 98.7 - Opened up for "Future Leaders of the World" in State College, PA - Had a song mixed by former Evanescence guitar player, John LeCompt - Recorded 3 songs under Producer Phil Taylor, Lead singer of FLOW and Machina - Have received reviews from randomly chosen people and have consistently scored 6.5 - 7.0 out of 10, keep in mind that this includes people who do not like this style of music whatsoever. - Have sought out, paid for, and gained valuable feedback from countless industry professionals Key Attributes: - Very hard working and dedicated to making my place in the music industry - Extremely open to constructive criticism, I believe that one can learn and benefit the most from the negative feedback, if everyone tells you that you are great, you will never improve yourself - Constantly working to improve myself on all aspects - Multi-talented, everything that you see and hear has been created and/or fabricated entirely by myself, I often find that I can really nail my vision when I just do it myself. However, I am always very open to suggestions. - Easy to work with, willing to allow producers and labels to mold my music to fit within the overall agenda, I already have experience with this sort of thing, so I am over the stubbornness of holding too tightly to my own way - Have played 100s of live shows and in no way do I get stage fright. I love the stage and the bigger the audience, the better the connection and performance. - I am the right balance of humble and confident. I can usually chameleon myself within any group of people. Aspirations To be the number 1 name in Modern Alternative Rock and pave the way for the genre not to overshadow the current success of Pop & Hip Hop, but rather claim a seat alongside their mainstream popularity. AutoFocus wants to portray an unforgettable image that also sets a good example for all of those come. |
