About Kwame Coston

Kwame Coston is a Brooklyn-born pianist, arranger/producer and poet who has worked with Bobby Womack, William Bell, Eddy Grant, Branford Marsalis, Michal Urbaniak and scores of colleagues over a career span of 42 years. Being a professional musician since the age of 12 has enabled Kwame to travel to and perform in Istanbul, Turkey, Bermuda, Barbados and Canada. Kwame is currently producing for poet/vocalist Milissa Yelverton. Their latest collaborative piece "I Wait For You" aired on WSLR FM's Vibrational Journeys in Sarasota, FL on June 18, 2014. Kwame is also a Spoken Word Poet who has performed at The Nation House in Washington, DC and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe in New York City. Kwame Coston attended Berklee College of Music and is a graduate of the High School of Music & Art.
