| About Singer Tanni | RISING STAR Musical background I had performed my first solo stage musical programme at the age of 8 at the Bangladesh Shilpokhola Academy, Dhaka. I was a regular BTV, and Bangladesh Betar singer from age 10 years of old. I took part in many (more than 600) stage musical programmes in Dhaka. Although I sing all type of modern Bengali, Hindi and Urdu songs, however my specialty is in Nazrul Giti and in classical music. Musical Education I was awarded a high distinction in academic music at 1st class in Classical Bangla music and Nuzrul Giti from the Chyyanotte University, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2003. After getting the academic degree, I was also coached by a number of renowned “Ustad” (music teacher) including Ustad Anup Borua and Ustad Sumon Chowdhury in Dhaka, for a number of years. Between year 2006 and 2007 I was involved in lecturing and tuitioning music at a number of music colleges and centers at Dhaka, Bangladesh. |
