About 6000 GOONZ
6000 Goonz is an independent hip-hop label catering to all hip-hop ears. Founded in 1994 by Mobbstarr frontman Dice and cousin Pain, 6000 Goonz started as a small label to promote Cebu's top-notch hip-hop artists who don't have a snowball's chance in hell in making it in Manila's overcrowded hip-hop scene. Among the first inductees included The Anthill Mobb, Doggfellaz, Dice & K9 which eventually became Mobbstarr and Konigs among others. The label expanding at around 2006 as Stick Figgas, Gloc 9 , Syke,Jayflava and Apokalipsis jumped aboard the 6G bus. Gangsta rap group Untouchables was also among one of the latest artists to come out of the label. The label's vision is non-monetary and is all about music, may it be underground, mainstream, tagalog, english, gangsta rap, and even the good old party music. The members view 6000 GOONZ as a family more than it is a music label. Genre became a non-existent word in the label's vocabulary due to most of it's artist's eclectic choice of music and influences. 6g boasts a lot of successful releases under its belt such as Dice & K9's "Mobbstarr","The Journey", Konigs' "Nganong Ni Enter", Stick Figgas' "Critical Condition" and Untouchables self-titled debut album. Music speaks louder than hype.
