About Becky Ayers

Dr. Bryan Kolb, and Dr. Ian Q. Wishaw, authors of "Fundamentals of Human Neuropsychology" stated that "Right side lesions of the temporal lobe result in decreased recognition of tonal sequences and many musical abilities."

I was born with a cavernous angioma of the right temporal lobe 50 years ago and have defied this diagnosis. Music gives me great joy and has throughout my life, enjoying the alto sax and cello as well as the keyboard. I refuse to be held back from what I love most in life by a set of pre-determined rules.

Instrumentals allow one to imagine their own story. To hear the lyrics that best fit the emotions they feel as they listen to the music. This is what I love most about music. Taking people on a ride of imagination and adventure, one they themselves created within their own minds.
