| About Aleysana | Alexander Paul started to record and mix his songs on his Mac in 2002. As the songs developed, Peter Slezar came on board providing guitar support while giving both the songs and Alexander a significant lift. The songs really took off when Mariana Mentasti added the vocals. Along the way, several people contributed in one way or another - Irlanda Gendron and Gabriela Pastori with Spanish lyrics, and Sebastian Morgan with keyboards on So Blind. Mariana teamed with the pianist Fabian Adell to create a lovely rendition of Mi Casa. This international band (Mariana is Argentine, Peter is Czech, and Alexander is Argentine-born American) record in a home studio and create unique, cross-gender music. |
