About Back Roads

Fate has ran it's course with these two creative musicians. Back Roads is a combination of two cousins, one with a background in Southern rock, and the other in R&B/Soul. When you hear this blend, it's a sound all their own. Back Roads members are Kevin Hankins, lead guitar and vocals, and Jemma Jacobs, lead vocals. They were raised with small town, southern manners and are country to the core, but that doesn't limit their sound. One of their songs may be laced with twang and just when you think you've pegged it, out comes an edgy sound you weren't expecting, but you will love it all the same. If you meet these two musicians you wouldn't know whether to invite them to Sunday dinner or stay up laughing with them all night. They are a handful, but all the while, some darn good musicians.
