About Eddie Morales

Eddie Morales is originally from Williamsburg Brooklyn in New York City where he grew up listening to all types of music from various Artist. His Mother and Father Moved from Puerto Rico to New York City in the mid 1960's.

Morales began performing as a singer in the 1970's. His influences vary from Rock, Spanish Rock, Latin, R&B, Salsa, Blues, Rockabilly, Salsoul and Ballads. Eddie Morales say's "
One of the Artist that influenced me in my vocals was Singer Joe Bataan with his Latinsoul sound. Joe Bataan's voice had a soulful sound combined with words of inner city truth.

The songs presented here,were written by Eddie Morales and musician Tony Grillo. Eddie is singing lead while Tony is playing guitar and Bass as well as engineering the recordings.

These recordings were done on a four track machine to give it a raw sound that was popular in the 1960's with vocal chorus overdubs. I hope everyone that listens enjoys the music,thank you.
