| About Message Mon | Message Mon born August 1.st 1957, began his musical training at the age of five playing classical music. Bach, Chopin, List, and Beethoven was his favorite childhood music. As a teenager he learned other instruments because there was no piano in band class. By the time he finished high school he was a seasoned in all styles of music and on his way to a life of playing it. In 1976 he joined The Sylvers Band and toured with them for two years eventually becoming their music director. After leaving The Sylvers he played for Linda Clifford.on a short tour, then put the family band back together. He wasn't to back up another artist until 2003 when he toured with Morris Day and The Time . Jimi James became Message Mon in 1990 after realizing his calling for purpose. It was then that he knew he would be putting positive messages to music and telling people things that they don't know. It was about then that he began his journey into mysterious subjects of the world as he continued to play music in night clubs. His knowledge and use of computers is what made it possible for Message Mon to get his message to the planet.in music, video, documentaries, movies. He pinpointed his mission and fine tuned his direction after a few life changing experiences and magical encounters. This is when he founded the Flock Of Angels and became heavenly involved in anti violence charities. Message Mon is Artistic Director for the Nicole Brown Foundation and is currently working on a movie project called Angel In The Mirror. |
