Welcome Welcome Welcome!!!! This is the page of the group that goes by the name of DIRT CITY you may not have heard of us but you soon will. Consisting of members "Big Bread" "Lil Shot" and "Twist" Dirt City has now been putting music down together for 2 years now.
Big Bread: Born in Long Beach, CA and relocated to Las Vegas when he was only 5 years old Bread has always been a fan of music, he grew up listening to alot of West Coast artists being that NWA and the whole Death Row era was going on when he was coming up. Bread and his cousin Twist decided to create a rap group called "Twisted-Thoughts" when they were 16 and 17 and began to make music together. Even though the production was terrible being that they made beats on a game called Music Generator on playstation they still had a great style and hot lyrics. Soon they were doing shows at the West Las Vegas Library and was gaining a fan base. After doing a couple of shows they began to go and rap for local record labels and they got the attention of a local label that went by the name of big face records, and were really close to signing with that label, but just as everything it was bad timing. Now that all the pieces are in place and armed with a new member Big Bread is now a vital member of Dirt City, and with the release of their debut album "Dirty But Klean" is really becoming a force to be reckoned with in Las Vegas...... Not only is he a beast on the mic but his energy on stage is unparalled be sure to check his solo efforts on the album on the songs "Mashin Out" and "Reminisce" Big Bread at his finest.
Twist: Born in Los Angeles, CA and didn't relocate to Las Vegas till just after his 7th grade year of school. Twist was introduced to music by his aunt who happened to be friends with Warren G while living in Long Beach, CA. He was around when artists such as Snoop, Daz, Kurupt and Nate Dogg were making the city where he was living a major scene. So of course he wanted to get in on the action and started writing rhymes at a really young age. Once he arrived in Las Vegas he and his cousin Big Bread formed "Twisted-Thoughts" and he knew that they had something special. Like bread they were in line to sign with a local label but unfortunately Twist was getting ready to go to the Air Force so that put a damper in the plans. While in the United States Air Force Twist perfected his craft of writing by doing open mics and by writing poetry. While stationed in Korea he was introduced various recording and producing programs and began pumping out numerous solo songs and eventually recorded 3 albums all on his own in one year. Soon after returning to the states he and his cousin Bread reunited and formed the group Twisted-Thoughts and put together a great album called "The Sicc & Twisted Album." Soon after finishing the album a mutual friend of theirs Lil Shot soon began writing with the two and they decided to form the group Dirt City, and the rest is history. Armed with a hot debut album "Dirty But Klean" Twist and Dirt City are ready to take the city by storm. His biggest attribute is his word play and lyrical content. Lil Shot: Lil Shot: Conceived, born and raised in the DIRT CITY of Las Vegas so it don%u2019t get no better than that. Lil Shot began writing rhymes independently as a form of expression and later put some bass, strings, and added a hook and great music was made. With his solid style, serious on stage persona, and go get it attitude he is the perfect 1/3 to DIRT CITY. He brings the crowds and keeps them comin back for more kuzz a little DIRT DONT HURT and he stays keepin it DIRTY BUT KLEAN.
