Joshua Parrish stage name Mr. Maintain (music composer/song writer/producer) has held many events in Arkansas, the Balla Bash Festival & Summer music festival. With his unique swag and delivery Arkansas has always supported this young superstar. Mr. Maintain has received commissions and awards, afflicted with BMI. Mr. Maintain music have been showcased worldwide on B.E.T. including several international recaps of his multimedia production When I get dat feelin, and a critically acclaimed retrospective of his music in (Germany). His Song “When I get dat feelin” was recorded by Russ Cain Productions. Mr. Maintain was placed among the most talented artist in Arkansas and surrounding states to win the chance to perform live on B.E.T. 106 & Park. From there he went to New York where he performed live in Manhattan. With an estimated 65,000,000 views on the first day and 48% of the votes that sealed the competition for him to bring home the win, not to mention 37,000,000 views the following morning. Other CD projects include “Struggling 2 Maintain” will release in 2009 on iTunes, MySpace, Jamewave, Famecast, Pure Volume, Reverbnation etc & many music stores near you. His work have been performed and broadcast in Universities, B.E.T and on the radio.
Born in Hope, Arkansas hospital, Mr. Maintain holds respect from his state. He is the founder and Executive Artistic Director of Homeaid Bankrolls ENT a world-class independent organization, which provides high-level arts instruction to community and professionals alike in the music industry, as well as unique and compelling concerts and productions at historic facilities in the Arkansas area. He has taught music theory, composition, and music history inspired by hard times and inspiration from elders to the youth in his community. Mr. Maintain performed at Troy University, University of Arkansas in Little Rock and many other performing institutions. He counts among his teachers &/or mentors
