About Why Work Entertainment
|
On any given day in his hometown you can hear someone shout out 'What up Luch?' Thus referring to the lyrical magic man named Luchiano. Born Cedric Barnes on November 7, 1984 in Fayetteville, NC his parents would soon decide to move to Raleigh, NC. Luch would soon find himself spending his high school years battleing amongst the best freestyle artist the Wake County Public School Systems had to offer. Known for his unique ability to come up with freestyles on demand you could very well call him the last of a dying breed amongst industry freestyle rappers. El Boogie a prominent producer took notice of Luch during a Garner vs. Enloe Home Coming freestyle battle in 2001. El Boogie said ' I can't believe someone so young could be so lyrical'. El Boogie was so intrigued by Luch that he literally built a full studio for the young rapper to record in. Since then Luch has been carefully strategizing what he calls 'NC's Come Up'. Atlanta has T.I., New York has Jay-Z, LA has Snoop Dogg and North Carolina has L.U.C.H which he says means the (last undisputed Carolina Hero). He set out to create Why Work Entertainment. a promotion company and music label for young talent from NC. North Carolina has been known to be the worlds toughest crowd towards artist in the music industry, but around Carolina you can ask about Luch and you will get nothing but love. You can ask Luch for almost anything and he will do his best to get it. This is the character behind the music. We're talking a young star with genuine appeal that the ladies love and the fellas wanna be like. With southern hooks, melody driven music, gritty lyrics, and swagger like no other, you have just experienced "Luchiano".
