The Teemates-Bobby is Bobby from the 1960's Band THE TEEMATES. This band was considered equal in look and sound to the newly emerging Beatles in 1964 and so became New York's Answer to them. After their show stopping performance at the New York Worlds Fair in 1964 they soon found themselves being interviewed by the top deejays of the day(Cousin Brucie-Scott Muni) They went on to become the Opening House Band in Scott Muni's Rolling Stone Disco in NYC. They soon after recorded their own Album for Audio Fidelity Records called JET SET DANCE VOL#4 which featured their original tunes NO MORE TOMORROWS - DREAM ON LITTLE GIRL along with Covers of The Beatles Ronnie and The Daytonas-Roy Orbison and others. (Hopefully we can get clearance to re-issue seven to Nine Tracks of that Album here.)After leaving Scott's Club they were followed in by Leslie West and The Vagrants. In the meantime The Teemates performed with or backed up just about every major Rock Legend in the Music Business. After the Group disbanded in 1965 Bobby formed another band fashioned after the Vagrants and became a huge draw through out The East Coast. Bobby then became a Session Musician with Bell Sound Studios, a short stint as a Model, and then went on the road as a Side man with many legendary Acts.
This is his first recorded Album in 20 Years. All the songs and music were written by Bobby OVER THE PAST YEARS. The songs were recorded at SIGNATURE SOUND STUDIOS in Pomfret Connecticut.
