About Chevy Thompson

Chevy Thompson was born and raise in Kingston, Jamaica, where music is more than a form of entertainment. Chevy grew up watching his father's band play at different venues in wich his mother also sang. The piano was his first love, but in the summer of 2004, Chevy picked up the guitar while working at Silver Lake Camp, in Minnesota. He began to write songs to make campers and his co-workers happy, and everyone encouraged him to write more. In the winter of 2004, Chevy wrote 13 songs and produced his first "independent-closet-studio" album. Chevy is currently working on a secong album and he his also a free-lance graphic/web designer.
