| About The Wayves | From the Beginnings The Wayves began as a four piece band in Spring 2007. With a few hours practice, and a hand held digital recorder, three original songs were up on a myspace page within a day. Throughout the Summer of 2007, the band played many covers and few originals at various charity events throughout the Raleigh/Cary area in NC. By September they had won the Raleigh Battle of the Bands, and moved on to full original sets. Since then, The Wayves have been constant with writing and performing new songs. Art Benson,16 is on guitar, lead vocals, Billy Benson on drums and Eli Bayeh on Bass and vocals.
