Hailing from Detroit Mi. I started out as the lead singer in a cover band called the Blueberry Jam. We were young and we played all of the jr. high and high school dances,Plus a lot of private parties and such. Then our guitar player got asked to go on tour with Grand Funk Railroad!! We found another guitar player his name was Vondie Cambell We did pretty good for a while and then he left and went off with The Blueberries!!! At that point I had learned how to play Bass guitar. I hooked up with Ken Pollard(Guitar/Lead vocals) Steve Otte(Drums) and Me Spooner Lazenby(Bass Guitar/Back-up vocals)We called the band Choking Lester and very Quickly became a staple In and around The Detroit Venues.We started warming up bands like QuietRiot,KingsX,Slaves on Dope,and FasterPussycat.Our style of Melodic Death Metal became very Popular!!! We released 2 albums in the 14 yrs that we were together that did o.k. but not Great!!! Then we just kinda lost interest!! Now I am starting a solo career,My writing and producing has changed to more of an Acoustic,folk,gospel,and country ballad type of thing which is all good music!!! I now can play acoustic guitar,The Mandolin,the dulcimer,The banjo,harmonica,and I am learning how to play the fiddle,plus I can still Rumble my bass really good!!! Anyway enough about me!!!
