| About Darkseid | Jonathan Aaron Samuel Quamina a.k.a Sir Darkseid was born in Trinidad and Tobago March 25 1985. Currently residing in Oakland CA but he's seen all corners of the world as he was raised in Harlem, Brooklyn as well. He also attended a year at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Florida as well as a year at Nova South Eastern University. Needles to say school was not his calling. Though he does intend to go back if need be. Music has become his full time pursuit. Music, However, is on a list of other things that S.D is passionate about. "Hip Hop is my religion and it's how I get my mind right and force the negative energy out of my spirit." He proclaims. Some of his biggest role models in the game right are mostly underground artist such as MF DOOM, Mad Lib, Jedi Mind Tricks, Apathy, Aesop Rock, and Cage. . .just to name a few. "Danger Doom is probably my biggest idol combos. When they came out with the Mouse and the Mask album it was pure ridiculousness. Every song on that album is pure gold. The thing I like about most of these cats is that they rhyme about cool ass sh*t." He's been doing freestyles since high school and only recently decided to take it to the next level. He has since dropped a mix tape titled 2012 Vol 1: The Vision and an album titled Visions from the Journal. "The essence of hip hop is here in me, welcome to the Worlds #1 gentleman's page of sound.
