About Jadon Faith

Aric Chandler Ross (born January 31, 1972) who performs under the stage name, Jadon Faith, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. Jadon is the biological half-brother of recording artist Lori Lynette.

Jadon released his debut single, "All I Have To Do Is Dream", in March 2009. The song, a cover of the classic hit originally released by the Everly Brothers, was successful in getting the performer listed on and eventually noticed by--a moderate number of future fans and independent artist sites, including iLike, ReverbNation, Imeem, GarageBand, MySpace Music, Facebook,, Grooveshark and others. The publicity and overall recognition gained by these social networking and third-party sites helped boost the artist up the charts of his official website, ReverbNation. Jadon was at the #2,912 position one-week after debuting, however, his listeners grew rapidly and were able to launch Jadon to the #1 position on the local country charts in a mere three months.

In April 2009, Faith released his follow-up single, "Problems", another Everly Brothers cover. The follow-up was not as popular as the initial release but it did add to the artist's growing reputation and perceived genre tendencies.

In June 2009, Jadon released nine additional singles, each keeping with the cover song style, in a flurry of back to back launches with all nine singles released in the same week. The nine songs were released in the following order: "Cathy's Clown", "Why Can't He Be You", "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do", "I Fall To Pieces (ft. Becky Ross)", "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen", "She's Got You", "Could I Have This Dance", "Can't Help Falling In Love", and "I Fall To Pieces". The tracks featuring Jadon's mother, Becky Ross, are duets performed by the mother-son team and are the first time that either had performed alongside one another.

A tenth single, "Superstar" in the style of Ruben Studdard, was also released that same week. However, after listening to the recording on successive occassions, Jadon withdrew the release citing personal dislike of his vocal performance on the track.

The first multi-track album relelased by Faith is titled, "Familiar Sounds", and is a compilation of the artist's first eleven singles bundled into one release album.

Currently, Faith is working on recording an untitled second album, which according to the artist, is very likely to be composed of several--if not--completely original songs from the performer.

Jadon credits a large portion of the musical influences which played a major part in shaping his own personal tastes and style to recording artists such as Patsy Cline, the Everly Brothers, Neil Sedaka, George Michael, Richard Marx, Trisha Yearwood, The Eagles, Aaron Neville, Vince Gill, Collin Raye, and Elton John--among others. Jadon describes his sound as a melding of contemporary sounds that incorporate a gammit of tonalities and atmospheres but which has a strong flavor of contemporary country, acoustic, soft rock/easy listening, and pop/rock and supported by hints of R&B and Soul.

Jadon created the independent music label, Minurve Records, with the purpose of managing and producing the works of he and his sister, Lori Lynette. Both of these artists release their recordings under this label's management. The name Minurve comes from Jadon's paternal great-grandmother, who passed while he was still an infant but with whom Jadon's father had a very close relationship.

Jadon currently resides in Kansas City, Missouri.
