| About Kxys | A modern Pop/R&B aura is naturally born with Kxyseint Pastrana. This 15-year old wonder thought that he would never ever be known, but it's wrong.. After being known as Justin Bieber's (15-year old singing phenomenon) partner Kxyseint or Kxy began to live large, Kxy racked up a ton of followers on Twitter which was a result of word of mouth. “I didn't knew that I will live my dream like this,” says the Filipino child who grew up as the only boy among three siblings. “I started at Twitter as a normal person. Then one friend asked me if I could sing one song of Justin, I tried 'One Tme'. I didn't knew that Justin's fans would be crazy for that rendition.” Due to the demand of Twitter fans, Kxy decided to set-up an official YouTube channel. “I put my videos on YouTube so my Twitter friends could see them all.” he says. “But I didn't knew that people, even not in Twitter and Scooter watched it too. That's how Justin's manager called me. He saw me on YouTube and asked Justin, contacted my family and now I’m signed too!” Months after Kxyseint was given a phone call, Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun flew the 15-year old singer to Atlanta, GA to train and reunite with partner, Bieber. Kxy's talent was a natural, and Braun knew that Kxyseint and Bieber would make a good future ahead of their lives as a pair. “When we arrived in Atlanta, Scooter drove us to the studio where Justin and Usher were vocalizing,” remembers Kxyseint. “That was my very first time out of Philippines so when I saw Justin and Usher I was like, ‘Hey Jus, how are you?’ He was like, ‘I'm fine.’ Then Usher was like 'Come in, it's cold here.'” It took a short time for Usher to realize that he had these two talented boys that had a connection before and would make a wonderful future in the music industry. “3 days later, Justin called me,” says Pastrana. “Justin told me that Usher wants me back and he really wanted to sign me then, but Justin insisted. It turned out Usher’s deal cannot be broken. He flew me back to Atlanta and discussed our rules and laws. I always tease Justin now and remind him that he didn't wanted me to be signed too and that we had a past.” In March of 2009, Kxyseint Pastrana officially signed as Kxy Bieber to a joint venture of Usher and Scooter Braun's RBMG and Island Records. His debut album, is yet to be announced. With a joint contract with Justin Bieber, Kxy will be doing songs same as Justin's which were from hitmens like The Dream and Tricky Stewart who produced “Umbrella” for Rihanna and Beyonce’s latest smash, “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It),” Kxy is truly a very lucky kid. His first cover of The Cradigans' “Love Me” was backed out and was transferred to Bieber. Usher explained that, “'Love Me' was originally for Kxy, but it was backed out from him and transferred to Justin because of recording deal problems. But in behalf of RBMG, we promise that Kxy's next single is on process now." In addition to that, rumors of the post-dated release of Kxy's new cover is on May 2010. “I'm looking forward to inspire people to further pursue their own music.” says Kxy. “I will just say that keep on dreaming and try your best to achieve it, because believe me, dreams do come true. I grew up as a nobody, in mock of poverty; I have some, but not as much as other people do. I think that realizing what I do not have made me stronger as a person. Now I have achieved what I always wanted, performing in front of people to inspire and to teach myself to become a better person.” A hidden natural talent, Kxy Bieber will soon be a good inspiration for teens in the years to come. “I think older people can also be touched by my music because it's definitely what I love, and it’s not corny.” he says. “I think I can be a good artist and a better inspiration for people.” And just think, he ain't startin' yet. |
