With over twenty years in the business from the Gospel and R and B side, D’ Paul established himself as a force in the industry. As a solo R & B artist and protege of the great Charlie Wilson of the Gap Band, Dorian Paul performed on stage with such greats ranging from Michael Jackson to Whitney Houston and wrote or produced a song on 5 Gap Band albums. As a result of the success of his producing skills with the Gap Band, Dorian Paul also produced Yarborough & Peoples, Confunkshun, Dazz Band, Pieces of A Dream, Ollie Woodson of The Temptations and assisted with the music score for Penitentiary III soundtrack and The Rooftop Movie with The Eurythumics. Dorian Paul considered a highlight of his career singing background vocals for Celine Dion. With the longing for his first love, A'capella gospel music, Dorian Paul started creating what he affectionately calls, "Acca-Thera-Praise-Music", which stands for A'capella Therapeutic Praise Music.
