About DARRYL MARROW

Born in Newport News, Virginia, but has resided in Los Angeles, CA since the age of 2. He is the CEO of Chajay Music Publishing (ASCAP) proudly named after his daughter. He is an extremely talented vocalist, songwriter and producer. Darryl has opened for Jon B. at the Muse in Pasadena with his old group SolGruv with Tyrone Griffin son of the famed R&B group Lakeside. Recorded on Jackson Browne’s soundtrack "World In Motion" and recorded on another track with Browne, he has done numerous House of Blues Gospel performances with the famed Hamilton High School Gospel Choir under the direction of Mr. Fred Martin, the choir also recorded on Steven Siegal "Under Siege II" Soundtrack, background CeCe Winans and Michael Bolton at the Biltmore performed at The Spirit and Bravo Award and Sony Entertainment Internet Party. With the Hamilton High Gospel Choir Darryl performed for musical giants like Quincy Jones. Darryl sang with the House of Blues Gospel Choir as a choir member for Barbra Streisand Timeless Tour at the Staple Center in Los Angeles, CA. Darryl resides in Los Angeles, CA and still stays in contact with some of his extremely talented Hamilton friends like Cornelius Austin, Walter Milsap and Trameka Richardson. Currently, he has teamed up with Marc Gordon from the famed R&B group “Levert”. Working hard in the recording studio co-writing on upcoming projects for major recording artist through their company Noisey Street Music and Darryl is CEO of Abstract Promotions and Entertainment. Featuring songs from SolGruv album "The World Is Not Enough" a collaboration with Tyrone Griffin and 1st solo single duet project "Hello My Love" with Trameka Richardson host of the House of Blues Gospel Brunch at Disneyland, CA and soon to be release jazz sax version with Brian Pinner from the jazz group "Forte" out of Smithfield, VA.
