Cristofe Sors was born in Arles, Southern France, in a Musician and Catalonian Gypsy family. At an early age, Cristofe showed a big interest and aptitude for the music and began to sing and to play some "Rumbas" in the secret of his family. Because of the blood connection of his father with the famous Gipsy Kings, Cristofe was introduced to them and learnt more and more about flamenco and began to sing in the restaurants of Arles. Nicolas Reyes, one day puted his hand on the heart of Cristofe Sors, and said to him: "You will get there, if you believe it" and few years later, Cristofe, on the grave of Jose Reyes prays for to have the same passion forever..."to sing". Then Cristofe met Katie, daughter of Jerome Espinas, one of the most beautiful voice on the north of Barcelona. Three months later, Cristofe is getting married and sing with Tekameli, a brilliant gypsy group doing gypsy religious gospel in Perpignan, French Catalonia. One year after, Cristofe wants to be free and travels in all Europe with his guitar, busking and living every minute like if it was the last one. Cristofe met some famous people, Brigitte Bardot, Lucien Clergue, Peter doherty, Formica, the Great Kabila...and always played for them. Then Cristofe met in a Gypsy Festival his destiny, Rowana, an other Gypsy woman. Se brings him for a tour of France, Spain. Germany, Netherlandfs, and England was calling. Cristofe Sors go out of the Taxi in London and begin his career in England by playing in the parliement, city hall, and others places as The Quecumbar, Camino. Cristofe recorded his fisrt album in Wales, London and Kent, when he decided to go to live in Totnes, the Center of his world. Here many projects are possible and Cristofe Sors carry on to entertain all sorts of places, and bring his catalan gypsy culture and music up!
