| About Lady Monarch "Lady M" | Spoken word infused with hip hop & R/B as only Lady Monarch can deliver. Smooth sexy vocals over sensual tracks provided by Profitz Beatz have become her trademark. The lyrical content is often sexually charged yet dripping with sweet sarcasm. Since creating a you tube channel in July of 2010, Lady Monarch has gained thousands of views and positive feedback. A wig stylist by profession, Lady Monarch began writing and arranging her own compositions in 2010 after listening to a few tracks by ProFitz, an up and coming beatmaker/producer in The Washington DC Metropolitan Area. What started out as an urban fiction, literary writing project entitiled "The Saga of Lady M.~The Pendulum Swings Both Ways" turned into experimentations with song writing and poetry. "The Butterfly Effect" will be the "spoken word artist" first official release in Summer 2011. The first single "Turning Japanese ReDux" has already been welcomed with rave reviews from the you tube and twitter community. The title is taken from a 80's song "Turning Japanese" by The Vapors & refers to love faces. |
