About Heather Schultz

My name is Heather Schultz, born and raised in Texas. I have been singing for ten years in a variety of settings, however, my love and passion is currently singing in a praise and worship band. My self-titled album consists of a few songs I had written or co-written back in my college days (i.e., Stop, Apples, My Baby, and You Don't Have To). "Stop" has previously won 2nd place for Contemporary Christian Song during the Gospel Music Association's Seminar in the Rockies in 2001. "You Don't Have To" had also been selected for Contemporary Christian Song finalist. I have competed in a number of vocal competitions including Spotlight Artist winner in NACAS in Nashville, TN, as well as making the first cut on the Christian Broadcast television show "Gifted".
