| About Moonie | Joann "Moonie" Holmes was born and raised in Miami, Florida on June 3rd of 1989. To a mother and father who is of African American decent with a hint of Native American which comes from her grandmother on her father's side of the family. While Moonie was attending Van E. Blanton ElementarySchool is where she discovered her musical abilities while in Chorus Class. She started songwriting at the tender age of 7. And discovered her voice as early as 5. And at her 5th grade graduation is where she sung her first Solo. After graduating from Miami Central Senior High School is when reality started to hit her. Moonie has worked with a local record label "Rough World Records". But is still a free agent. Having connections to other people locally in Miami; She's starting to take advantage of her oppurtunities and embracing her horizons. |
