Get On Board and is gearing toward it’s 2011 visual release; with a digital audio version of the same song and a partnering original single, Feels Good to be Home, set to be made available, as well. As an independent/unsigned talent, Omega has his sights set high.

Omega McBride, originally apart of two prior Chicago Hip Hop groups (The Untouchables, Alpha & Omega), was given the alias Omega by his former group member because of his strong belief in putting God in the beginning and “end” of all things done. Moreover, Omega, before ever settling with the name and eventually partnering it with his middle [Gov] name “McBride”, always took pride in being last in songs written, recorded and performed with former group members, giving the last punch of the potent message intended to be brought in each song. Omega McBride has worked along – side leaders of The House Covenant Church, Chicago’s first youth & young adult Hip Hop Church for the last 7 years with Pastor Phil Jackson, to spark change and elevate minds in the Lawndale Community on Chicago’s Westside. He has hosted Hip Hop mentoring and education workshops, performed for many City-wide schools and youth programs, along with taking several trips to service the land of Canada to share educated, experienced knowledge and performance with on-lookers of the cultures he loves and daily represents. Omega McBride also works steadily with established non-for-profit organizations at providing today’s youth with alternatives to a life in the streets, by teaching classes on written poetic expression, music arrangement, production, performance, and artistic presentation. Omega is also currently a Sports and Youth Instructor for Family Focus, Inc. and has run his own POINTS (People Organized in Nurturing Teens) Sports and Mentoring program, for the last three years, in Chicago’s inner-city neighborhoods.

Set to ignite an overall positive awareness of better living and bigger thinking with his music, Omega McBride spews these elevating words in one of his compositions,
“…and even when my day seems bad/ remembering God made it, I’ma rejoice and be glad/ I’ma fight/ right thru the times I don’t see the light/ despite the night/ It’ll be alright”.

Supporters can expect a polished, well seasoned sound from this driven and gifted artist, Omega McBride.
