| About C.J. Luckey | It's challenging for people to find that balance between being different enough to stand out, but still being themselves. That was a struggle for C.J. Luckey early in life, until he discovered his purpose. C.J. Luckey is a Christian hip-hop artist/motivational speaker/youth leader from San Angelo, TX, by way of Dallas, TX. For the past five years, CJ has spoken and performed in front of thousands of students across the country, ranging from elementary school to college. CJ has been able to connect and relate to students of all ages through his music and messages. CJ's songs deliver various types of messages, from his struggle to find his identity, to his faith in God. CJ is not afraid to speak on topics such as relationship struggles, lust or insecurity in his music as well. CJ stated "Music is an outburst of the soul. Music is what 'feelings' sound like. I don't mind being vulnerable in my music because that allows the listener to understand my heart better. I have been blessed to reach so many students from all walks of life through hip-hop." CJ, teaches the same message to every student he encounters. "Make it your goal to be everything God has called you to be and you will find purpose and fulfillment in everything you do". CJ graduated from college with a bachelors degree in Exercise Science. There he met his beautiful wife of four years, Samantha Luckey. They have a little girl, Olivia Joy Luckey. C.J. and his wife serve as youth pastors for Freedom Fellowship Church in San Angelo, TX. They are under the leadership of Pastor Harold and Mary Lou Watkins. C.J.
