Look Like We Made It
Larry Montez Fields (Born March, 5,1986) better known as Tayza, is a Native of East. St. Louis, Illinois. Born and raised in the projects without father, Tayza quickly learned that he had to adapt to his environment. Inspired and influenced by the rough streets of East St Louis, but never easily influenced by them. He knew that the only way to get out the poverty, strickened area of the city filled with drugs and violence was to work hard and rise above it.
Deeply curious about music throughout his youth years from various people such as( his family who were mostly R&B singers and songwriters as well as the hip/hop rap music artist of the 80’s). He immediately indulged in creative and artistic ways to develop his own music as well as sound that would be unique and different from the rest.
In 1997, Tayza recorded his first song titled “You Want Beef”, produced by Louis Harding who is currently a producer for Warner Bros’. His peers quickly noticed his unique and whitey talent that he possessed and were ready to hear his next master piece.
Over the years of hard work and dedication, and many songs to say the least Tayza has performed at 100’s of venues and worked with many artists such as Young Bleed formerly of Nolimit Record, Gunna Bandz of Def jam, Dun Deal of Lock’em Down Record, and a slue of other artist.
He is now the CEO of his own record label Tay. Ent, and has his education by receiving his Business Management Associates Degree thru college. Currently he is in line to be the next African American mogul of his generation.
Tayza has just released his first single of his 4th Album titled “Tayz’em” with the hit single “Looks Like We Made It” which is currently receiving radio play independently along with the video. Most would say his latest project is a (diamond in the ruff). Tayza’s next move is to reach an agreement regarding a Distribution Deal that would catapult his career the next level
