Born and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina. 22 year old, James Crandis Neely Jr aka Cran Neely always was a fan of the music and was known for spitting a rhyme here in there. It wasn't until his sophomore at Tuskegee University where he began taking the music serious. He was inspired by fellow alumni of the university, musical recording artist Rich Boy.
