Derek Marin was born & raised in New York City. He developed a passion for music early on, playing the drums at age 9. Being influenced by groups like Depeche Mode & New Order he started playing in bands at age 14. During this time he also started to build his production & DJ skills, taking charge of the recording, mixing, & editing aspects at home and in the studio.
