It was indeed an extremely unique pleasure to hear such a warm, engaged, humane, articulate voice, express her feelings for her Haitian people so beautifully in song and music. Milan is articulate in four languages, and is also very capable of publicizing the tragedies of Haitian history and its contemporary disasters in song that would encourage repeated listening for continued understanding and appreciation of its message.
