Artist Bio

Olusheyi(pronounced "o-loo-shay-e") Banjo, was born on June 3rd, 1980 in San Jose, California.At the age of 2 years old he began singing at the Deliverance Church of God in Christ. He began writing poetry at the age of 8 years old. In 1998 he appeared in Andrae Crouch's video "Pray" as a dancer. His first poem "Me and proud to Be" was published by the International Library of Poetry in their book "Halcyon Days" in 2002. He also won the coveted Editors Choice Award for that poem. In 2005 ...
