Release Date: 01 May 2010 Discs: 1 disc, 19 tracksGenre(s): Rap. Underneath the smooth looks, the Jay-Z lookalike ‘Prince Ade’ deserves respect. I have been sent several mix-tapes over the past few months by some artist, I’m not sorry to say that they were all binned. When I received one from Prince Ade the cover and packaging quickly caught my attention. After listening to all 19 tracks, I’m pissed off that he had the cheek to call this a Mix Tape for it sounded like an album. It's not a classic. But it's damn close. The production, lyrical imagery, and overall feel of it just had me moved. Prince Ade was not afraid to take music back to its roots, the project contains several powerful African rhythm that will have you feeling awesome and amazed. Consistently captivating in its lyrical content and its energy and emotion is too infectious not to inspire the listener. It is great to hear a hip-hop artist take a concept of music seriously, ‘captivating, educating, inspiring, uplifting, motivating, and sol...
