Poet Soul is a spoken word artist born and raised in Virginia in 1965. She first performed at the Precious Memories Bookstore http://www.myspace.com/preciousmemoriesbooks in Richmond, Virginia. Danita Green aka "The Broom Lady" and Linda the owner of Precious Memories helped push her into the beginning of a great new career.
