Artist Bio
Chris Greco is an award-winning composer and woodwinds specialist. He was raised and educated as a woodwind multi-instrumentalist and composer in Los Angeles, and he was a significant contributor to the jazz culture of Los Angeles from the 1980's to 2000. His jazz recordings from this period can be found on the independent label gwsfourwinds records. The record logo reads "Music for the 21st Century reflecting directions in modern jazz."

Most musicians don't really appreciate modern jazz. I do because I personally know how difficult it is to play. I have been there. My music fits the popular range of jazz but my heart is in modern jazz concepts. Great work Chris and nice arrangements! A whole new level of playing.
