Artist Bio

Mainly a blues pianist but studied in both classical and jazz music Jim Gray's first project is a compilation of music that has been recorded over the past 6 years and catalogues his varied interest in music. Influences from classical to hiphop and jazz can be heard on this freshman compilation cd. Originally from louisiana his blues roots can be heard on songs such as Jim's Groove and Spreewells.

I'll gear this review to 2 types of pepole: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and pepole trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

My new album" The Nashville Sessions" will be available in the next several months. It was a fun project recorded recently with a trio in of course nashville tn. I hope all that hear it enjoy it and feel the love i have for the project as much as i do. jim gray

Tune Up is a composition originally done by Miles Davis. Im not sure where you heard me play it because its not on any of my albums but i have played it and recorded it for internet radio. It is a standard of course. Thanks for the feedback...............Jimmy Gray
