K.O.D. resides in South Dakota. He has started a wave of hip hop throughout the community. The fresh style of his music is his own just as Nelly’s style was, with that country type grammar that made him unique. He was inspired by L.L. Cool J. and Tu-pac, he soon began writing his own lyrics and performing. In 2002, after achieving underground success, he released Hear My Cry.
