I learned to play guitar and sing at the age of 8yrs old. Taught by my father and a neighbor Jimmy Synder he was blind, but could shred a guitar. My father a fiddle player and guitarist, everyone called him slim. early 1950's he played with "Hess Allen" in Milltown and Hardinsburg, Indiana and at the Renfro Valley Barn Dance in Kentucky,CBS broadcast, commentator John Lair.
