| About Trepanning Party | The idea for Trepanning Party came to me one day in a smoke-filled room while watching some skateboard videos with a couple friends. I was listening to the music playing in the vids and it seemed it was either 90's rap or Band of Horses.. so later that night I returned home and cooked some tracks and tucked some loops into bed and BAM! it began. Most of these tracks do not have words to them because the intention I was going for was the "coasting" type feeling, the easy going feeling of just riding. I've been dabbling with GarageBand for about 4 years now, I have many tracks and many different personal projects I've worked on through the years but this one by far is my most complete around a central idea, that being an "easy going" feeling. I believe I am going to also pull some of my best songs from other personal projects I mentioned. Some of those songs are more acoustic while others have a more hip-hop vibe to them.
